Two Iranian thespians Amin Zendegani and Hadis Fouladvand are to star before the camera in series ‘Dr. Mahan’s Family’.
Directed by Rama Qavidel and produced by Behrouz Khosh-Razm, the series is to enjoy the two stars as the main cast.
The social family drama focuses on animals’ rights and Environmental protection.
Zendegani was born in a family of artists and musicians and began his artistic activities in 1991 when he entered the University of Tehran, Faculty of Fine Arts.
After gaining four years of experience in stage acting, he made his small screen debut with ‘Young Lawyers’ (1995).
He has appeared in the movies ‘Eastern Woman’ (1997), ‘The Actor’ (1998), ‘The Kingdom of Solomon the Prophet’ (2008), ‘Path to Heaven’ (2011), ‘Octopus’ (2011) and ‘Oblivion Season’ (2013).
Zendegani has also appeared in the series ‘Days of Youth’ (1998), ‘Lost Innocence’ (2003), ‘Spellbound’ (2003) and ‘Mokhtarnameh’ (2003).
Fouladvand was born in Tehran in 1978. At the age of 12, she took a theater course conducted by Golab Adineh and made her stage debut in 'Flowers of Friendship'.
Her film debut was in Siroos Alvand’s 'Dirty Hands' (1999).
She also appeared in Mahdi Sabaghzadeh’s 'Maral' in 2000. Fouladvand has also played roles in the series 'Lost' (2001), 'Coast Guard' (2009), 'The Rise of Mokhtar' (2009) and 'The Mystery of the Shah' (2013), and films 'Maral' (2000) and 'The Yellow Rose' (2002).
